Maya Hannon is a Psychology undergraduate at McGill University with research experience across clinical, developmental, and neuroscience domains. She is currently working on the scoping review at the Douglas Research Centre examining predictors of job tenure among individuals with mental health conditions from a transdiagnostic perspective. Her work involves full participation in screening, data extraction, and manuscript writing.

In addition to her work at the Douglas, Maya has contributed to research at the Montreal Neurological Institute, where she helped quantify axonal properties in mutant mice using tools like ImageJ. This experience deepened her understanding of neuroanatomy and data analysis techniques.

Maya is also a student researcher in the Montreal Antenatal Well-Being Study (MAWS) under Dr. Montreuil. The lab focuses on maternal mental health post pregnancy and its impact on child outcomes. She supports the team through data coordination.

Across these roles, Maya has developed strong skills in scientific writing, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is particularly interested in how mental health affects long-term life outcomes and hopes to pursue graduate studies in applied psychology to further explore these issues.
